The short version
Your data is yours. You can export everything with one click, or delete your account — and everything with it — at any time.
What we store
Your email address (for login), an optional username and avatar, and your watch data: which episodes you marked watched, your ratings, and your private notes. Show metadata (titles, posters, air dates) comes from TMDB and AniList and is not personal data.
The TV Time import
Your export zip is read in your browser. The file itself is never uploaded — only the parsed list of show names, episode numbers, watch dates and ratings is sent to our servers so we can rebuild your history. Nothing is transmitted until you drop the file and the import starts.
Processors we rely on
Hosting by Vercel, database and authentication by Supabase (EU-hosted Postgres), transactional email by Resend, error monitoring by Sentry, and privacy-respecting product analytics by PostHog (EU cloud). Each processes data only on our instructions.
Your rights (GDPR)
Access and portability: one-click full export in Settings. Erasure: delete your account in Settings — the deletion cascades through every table immediately. Questions or requests: privacy@miteru.app.
